Key Responsibilities 

Health, Safety & Environment 

  • Lead site Health & Safety performance 
  • Implement the Construction Phase Plan 
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings 
  • Developing and ensuring approved RAMS are followed 
  • Stop unsafe works and report incidents and near misses 

Site Management 

  • Supervise site works, subcontractors, and interfaces 
  • Deliver works to programme, drawings, and specifications 
  • Manage site access, permits, logistics, and temporary works 
  • Maintain site diaries, progress records, and reporting 

Quality & Delivery 

  • Ensure works meet project quality requirements and ITPs 
  • Carry out inspections, snagging, and support audits 
  • Support short-term planning and programme delivery 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

  • Zero RIDDOR reportable incidents 
  • 100% site inductions completed prior to works 
  • 100% RAMS compliance with no unauthorised deviations 
  • On-time delivery of site activities against programme 
  • Zero enforcement actions from HSE or client 
  • Quality defects below agreed project thresholds 
  • Timely closure of actions from audits, inspections, and near-miss reports 

Qualifications (Mandatory) 

  • SMSTS (valid) 
  • CSCS Card 
  • First Aid at Work 
  • Full UK Driving Licence 

Desirable: SHEA Gas, SCO-91, TWC, TWS, NRSWA Supervisor, utilities / energy experience 

 

Experience 

  • Minimum 5 years’ site management / supervisory experience 
  • Experience managing subcontractors and live construction sites 
  • Energy, utilities, or HV environments advantageous
